What to Expect:
As a Senior Concept Artist, you will play a key role in shaping the visual direction of our upcoming extraction shooter by creating compelling concept art for the environments, props and weapons of the game.
What You’ll Do:
- Create informative designs for the exteriors and interiors of Environments, Structures and Gameplay areas from the level design blockouts provided to you. You will work closely with the level designers to be able to visually communicate functional and aesthetic designs and help shape the visuals of each map.
- Create key art shots that define lighting, scale, POI elements, and visual direction of the combat maps in the game
- Craft sick weapons and weapon cosmetics that players would want to fight over by creating high-quality concept art that aligns with the game’s artistic vision and style
- Create callout sheets for structures, props, vehicles and weapons to be used by the 3D Artists to create game-ready assets.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Concept Artist or similar role in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Prior experience with concepting stylized weapons, weapon cosmetics, and key shots for levels.
- Proficiency in digital art tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Blender.
- Strong understanding of perspective, color theory, and 3D.
- Excellent drawing and rendering skills, with the ability to create detailed artwork.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Blender or Unity is a very important skill we look out for. Any experience in 3D is almost a must-have in our pipeline.
- VFX concept experience.
- Passion for gaming and understanding of world-building.
- Creating Marketing assets like Splash Art
